It's been a while since we've posted here, we've had a lot going on in our personal and work lives, but we haven't stopped working on Andrecca! Anyway, for those of you who don't know me, I'm Andrew and I'm the other half of the Andrecca team. I work a lot more with the coding and game mechanics side of things. When the time comes for an open beta - something we'd very much like to do in the near-ish future - I'm sure we'll get to know one another better while I do my best to keep the bugs at bay!
While this post is about some of the frustrations in working on a videogame, I'm really lucky to work with the man I'm going to marry. Some people out there say to never work with your spouse or significant other. Andrew and I make a really great team in our relationship, and this is just a hobby that we have together. We don't see this as "work" or a "job". We don't consider one of us to be "the boss" of our game, but that does not mean we always agree on all aspects of our game. Like a healthy relationship, there's a give and a take that happens.
My name is Becca and I'm one half of the Andrecca team. My future husband Andrew is the other half, and together we're working on making a video game. This is where I'll be posting about once a week. In addition to that, I'll post about any new or interesting developments.
